ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Attention to detail and sensitivity to light and color are a few comments frequently used when describing paintings by award winning artist, Shawn Faust.
Like many artist, Faust became fascinated with drawing at an early age. His ability to draw has been hismost consistent influence in his life. Along with his drawing, he has successfully combined his love ofequine with his passion for color to pay homage to the horse. Faust explains, “For me, painting a portraitin oil is the highest form of admiration I can express for my subjects.”
Faust enjoys traveling the country to study and execute commission portraits of some of today’s greatest horses as well as many who have never won a race. “They are all champions to me.”
